The StephenHonea.com link above is actually pretty funky. If your using a browser that supports css3 you can see the difference, other wise its a pretty boring string of letters.

I love my Altima. We have been together since fall 2003. Time has taken its tole on her, so there is a few areas that we need to work on. Today I was shopping for some foamy tire and rim cleaner. I came across Rain X Headlight Restoration Kit. It was only 14 bucks, so not a total loss if it didn’t work. That stuff is amazing. The
headlights were yellow and
milky. After the Rain X treatment they became perfectly clear.
The instructions were pretty clear. Use the lubricant on 3 different grades of sanding pads. Apply the polish. Wipe the lens and spread on some sealant. I wasn’t smart enough to look for a cheep polishing bit for the drill, my biceps would not be throbbing while typing this. I was smart and duck-taped around the head lamp so no residue got on the paint job.
Tomarrow’s task is to wrap the steering wheel in a leather wrap. The sun finally got to my original steering wheel. Its starting to disintegrate at the point closest to the windshield. I’ve seen the leather wraps on some other cars. In my opinion, its actually better looking than the original equipment.
The perfect is the enemy of the good. The perfect home, the perfect girl, even the perfect life shouldn’t be achievable. My phone is pretty good. It makes really nice calls to my friends and folks. It displays the text and media in a fantastic way. It takes amazing pictures and displays them in a way I have never seen from a portable device. Its not perfect, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. My opinion, iPhone is the almost perfect phone. Check it out for yourself. www.apple.com/iphone
To me, Life is a collection of happy and sad moments strung along the path which defines us. Moments which seem to be fading away slowly in the abyss of fragmented memories, keep surfacing when an opportunity presents itself.
There was this girl. It’s always about a girl. I can’t remember where we were, the weather outside, or what were doing. I do remember I was frustrated, and wanted to understand her a bit better. I asked her,” how are you feeling?” little did I know the journey that question would take me. I knew I was fishing for “I’m happy to be here with you”, or maybe I expected “good when your around”. I didn’t expect “indifferent”. How does one respond to that.
That comment started a controversy. Friends made emotional alliances defending her point of view. I wanted a positive emotional response. She delivered a grey impersonal comment that jaded me to this day.
I believe a person can suffer different levels of sadness, and enjoy levels of happiness at any given moment. I can’t stand the idea someone is indifferent. It’s hard to imagine there are emotional states where a person’s emotions doesn’t teeter towards or away from happiness or sadness.
Today history repeated itself. The debate continues.
StephenHonea.com, hosted by Dot5Hosting.com was my first blog created 5 years ago this September. I decided, due to the lack of attention, blogging was no longer my focus. I recently changed my mind, sorta. I want a place to save my thoughts, ideas, and archive my past. Thanks to the environmentally friendly web services of iPage.com, I can. I hope anyone who reads this enjoys my journey, and is encouraged to write about journeys of their own.
